CAST Commercial Training
for Adults and Teens
CAST is an intensive, practical course designed to equip you for the real world of commercial acting! In every class, you'll learn new skills, practice commercial auditions using those skills, and receive individual feedback from me. (I have over 30 years of experience as a professional actress and teacher.) Each online class will be recorded, so you can review all of the teaching and see your work with a private link!
Why is commercial training so important for actors?
Commercials pay very well, so it's beneficial for all actors to take a course that deals specifically with commercial auditioning and the commercial market.
In the industry, we call commercials our 'Bread and Butter'.
Even if film acting is your goal, commercials help you make money to reinvest in your acting career.
Agents want their talent to have commercial training.
Plus, commercials are fun and easy to do once you book them. Let me teach you HOW to book them!
We always have a mix of students in the commercial class.
People who are just getting started and want to get into commercial work first
Actors who have film training, but are frustrated by commercial auditions
Those who have stage background and want to learn camera-specific techniques
Commercial actors who are already auditioning and want to learn new skills to increase bookings
And actors who are looking for an agent. (Many agents want you to take commercial training before they sign you.)
In this Commercial course, you’ll learn everything you need to feel confident with your auditions!
Overcome audition stress and gaining confidence
Discover your "type"
Ensure a great first impression
Take control of your audition

“Taking Shauna Bartel's commercial acting class was one of the best decisions I've ever made! I gained so many valuable skills that not only improved my confidence on camera but also helped me land my first commercial job just three months after finishing the class! Shauna is definitely the best acting teacher I've ever had—encouraging, knowledgeable, and truly connected to the industry. Her class was not just educational but also super fun, and it helped me feel like I am part of an amazing acting community! She makes her classes feel personal which is very unique for a multi person class! I highly recommended taking her commercial class!”
